Dear Colleagues,
At the 8th National Surgical Oncology Congress, which we will hold in December, we will collectively address a broad perspective ranging from current developments in cancer biology to next-generation treatments, and from our current standing in cancer surgery to our future goals.
We will reiterate once again that our surgical practice is not merely a technical application, but a biologically based, multidisciplinary, and data-driven decision-making process.
With the contributions of leading international speakers at our congress, we will have the opportunity to directly listen to and evaluate the approaches and current debates that determine the direction of cancer surgery on a global scale. I believe that this platform, where international experience meets national expertise, will further advance our scientific vision.
Furthermore, we will address the integration of rapidly developing technology and artificial intelligence applications into surgical oncology practice within a broad framework ranging from robotic surgery to decision support systems. While discussing the limits of today's surgery, we aim to shape the surgical oncology of tomorrow together.
Through hands-on courses and interactive sessions organized within the scope of our congress, we will create a strong educational environment that transforms theoretical knowledge into practice. We aim to provide a guiding scientific ground for our young colleagues and a horizon-expanding one for our experienced peers.
With the power of scientific solidarity, experience sharing, and a common vision, I invite you to join our congress to build the future of surgical oncology in our country together.
Sincerely,
President of the Surgical Oncology Society and the Congress
